Bibliography

You can soon find here a complete chronobibliography, bibliographies on Charterhouses, Carthusian authors, or thematics bibliographies.

A first chronobibliography is available here.

While awaiting for the presentation of more complete bibliographies, we propose to download the "New Carthusian bibliography" of 2005.

This bibliography is based on the work done by Albert Gruijs (transposed in the form "Gruys" in French), scholar at the Catholic University of Nijmegen, and published in 1976-1978 in France by the IRHT (Institute of research and history of texts), research center of the CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research):

The "New Carthusian Bibliography" (abbrev NBC) was carried out by a group of scholars under the direction of the Carthusians of Sélignac (mainly Dom Augustin Devaux). It was not published in the form of a paper book but only in the form of online pdf files. A first edition was born in 2002, a second one in 2005. It follows the plan of A. Gruijs:

I. Bibliographie générale

II. Religieux et religieuses

III. Maisons.
